Sissy was just a day old when I approached the fence nearest to her dam, my favorite cow Sassy. Like her Mom, Sissy is a rich red with a big white belt around her middle. That's signiture for my Buelingo beef cattle - a wide belt of white with either red or white on both ends. A bit like a bovine sandwich cookie.
In fact that's how people nearby refer to our farm - the place with the oreo cows.
